The Impressive History of Spark0

It all started on 18 August 2006 with Koolby wanting to drive in a demo league, but that league required a team. He started looking on the servers and he came across VJM (now Sider). As founders and managers of the team they had to come up with a name. They decided to became a branch of the old RMD team, and called themselfs Team (Green) -R. After some troubles in RMD, they became (Green) [RMD]. But again there we're problems in RMD and all branches had to go on their own. That's when we came up with the name 'Spark0'. So now they we're challenging the DEMO LFS world with the tag [Spark0].

Back in these days Spark0 gained much fame on the demo servers. Many of its members were very fast on Blackwood 1. But as many other teams, Spark0 lost many fine drivers but also gained many new members.

As everything was quiet in the demo world, they started the 'Spark0 Racing Team League'. It was supposed to be a League in which several teams raced against each other every week. This league came to an abrupt end after a big discussion between 2 teams. After this league it went downhill with Spark0, loosing many of his best drivers, leaving only Koolby, VJM and chirac who were all members of Spark0 since the beginning. As a way to shorten there tag, there was decided to change it to SRTx, which simply means Spark0 Racing Team.

July 2007 became a very important month in the history of Spark0 as Koolby bought S2, 1 month later also VJM bought S2 and changed his name to Sider. On 18 August they organised a race in the honour of 1 year Spark0. In September they also recuited their first S2 member, Sonīc.

As you can understand this team went thrue a lot of problems but they always got out of them. Spark0 has a very strong fundation with Koolby and Sider as managers and teamleaders. They both decided never to leave Spark0, even when they are the only 2 members. Leaving the team would first of all mean the distruction of the team and secondly it would mean you worked one year for nothing, and everything you fought for is lost.

Whether you like it or not, Spark0 is here to stay!
